01. the challenge

The moderators of K-Soul came to me wanting to create a strong brand that would better represent their style and readers.

02. the approach

Through multiple concepts we decided to go with an icon logo mark that would be easily recognizable as soon as you view it. I wanted the concept to convey the love that readers have for their medium as well as something that would represent it being a source of news. I chose to combine existing icons that were already universally recognized with the K to represent K-Soul.
